Biography

Following eight years in the UK Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Engineer Steve began his Lincoln Career as a Turbine Electrical Applications Engineer in 1984 working on Gas Turbine Package Contract execution, eventually running the department as Head Applications Engineering.

After this, Steve became Head Of Turbine Packaging responsible for Small Gas Turbine Package build SGT100- 400 (5-15MW), up to 70 units per year which included all package controls and sub systems build and test. In 2010 Steve moved to Service Division taking on the role as Director of Turbine Service Engineering responsible for Technical Support , Modifications and Upgrades , Maintenance planning and Service R&D. Parallel to this, Steve also took on the role as Head of Product Management for Small Gas Turbines in Service.

Since October 2016  he hold the position of Global Head of Manufacturing responsible for Workshops in Industrial Gas Turbines , covering UK Aberdeen TA/TB ( 1.5-5MW) Overhauls, Lincoln SGT100-400 Overhauls , Additive Manufacturing in Finspong Sweden and as well as regional workshops in Mexico and India undertaking Industrial Gas Turbine repair activities.

In addition to this, Steve is also leads the interface with the University of Lincoln, now a Principal Partner University to Siemens.
